Architecture, Stern documentary

I was watching the PBS documentary about Robert A.M. Stern the other  morning. My views on the Post-Mods has changed. I am not a lover of the modern trying to masquerade  itself as Roman temple, but I did realize that there is place for all different typologies. And it is the quality of the argument that  makes the architectural debate so interesting.
Stern, works counterpoint to architects who believe the polar opposite of him in terms of approach, politics and final product. But the key is not the difference, but the dialogue.
